Wag the tail

David Marshall, who developed the Bodydoctor Fitness programme has developed an excellent programme for children which help stem the problem of unhealthy and obese children. The exercises don’t require any exercise equipment other than a soft floor or mat. The exercises include wagging the tail, a baby crawl and dry land swimming. I am going to try this programme as for a small bear like me these exercises would be ideal. 🙂

Barrow Hill primary school in London is the first school to hold Bodydoctor classes and was trialled with year 5 children. They are now teaching the programme to the rest of the teachers in order to roll it out to the rest of the school. I hope that the programme gets adopted around the country.
